Perspectives on the Israel Palestine Conflict: Colonialism and Nationalism.

The fundamental mistake intentionally made by a large part of commentators and journalists regarding the Israel Palestine issue, also known as the Israel Palestine conflict, is this: they think that everything started on October seventh. Well, everything didn’t start on 10/07/2023. Everything started on 11/02/1917, when the minister of His Majesty the British Lord Balfour, who was also a Jew, expressed his willingness to create a Jewish homeland in Palestine, now commonly referred to as Israel Palestine. However, those few lines of the document said that the rights of the natives must be safeguarded. Well, the Zionist Jews, who aimed to establish a Jewish state in the region, never respected the rights of the natives, primarily the Palestinians, because they had spread a slogan saying a people without a land for a land without a people in reference to the Jewish people envisioning Palestine as their homeland and disregarding the presence of Palestinians.

In reality, at that time, Palestine was entirely inhabited and cultivated. They began with the Jewish Gens and the Jewish Agency, buying territories, buying plots of land that some wealthy Arabs had sold because they enjoyed the high life in Beirut, and then gradually, with the support of the British and the creation of terrorist organizations, they managed to practically take possession of almost all of Palestine. So what happened on 10/07 has a long history that unfortunately commentators do not tell, and it is a history of expulsion of the natives from their ancestral lands.

Israel Palestine

Everything started in 1947 when the United Nations, formerly known as the League of Nations, partitioned Palestine. It was not the right of the UN to partition Palestine, so it was an initial abuse, but the gravest thing was that 200,000 Jews received 56% of the land compared to the 44% for almost 1,000,000 Palestinians. Therefore, an unequal and unjust partition, with three separated territories. Just look at the maps from 1947 as the United Nations partitioned Palestine, and you can see the enormous injustices that were done. Understandably, the Palestinians did not accept the partition. The year after the proclamation of the State of Israel, May 1948, the ethnic cleansing began. And here I want to be clear. A great scholar whom I personally know, an Israeli who had to leave Israel due to the persecution he faced, now teaches at a British university.

Professor Ilan Pappe has written a fundamental book that is flying off the shelves these days, “The Ethnic Cleansing of Palestine” where he recounts the so-called Delta Plan, the plan desired by Ben-Gurion, who was the first President of Israel. It envisioned the destruction and expulsion, the uprooting of Palestinians from around 500 villages, which were cleansed and even renamed with Hebrew names. Well, where did those populations go? Some went to Gaza as refugees, and another part went to Syria, Egypt, Lebanon. To Qatar, Saudi Arabia, to live in refugee camps like dogs. This is the reality that must be understood. Furthermore, throughout this period, through wars fabricated like the Six-Day War, the narrative was that the Arab countries, Syria, Jordan, Egypt, wanted to destroy Israel. This was not true, as some Israeli leaders later acknowledged. In reality, it was an aggression.

Israel Palestine

Those with good memory will remember that all of Nasser’s air fleet remained on the ground, destroyed and bombed by Israeli Mirage planes. Because then, the Israelis said, yes, we knew that Nasser did not want to attack. So it was an act of aggression. And from there, day after day, despite all the attempts by the United States, the UN, Russia, Saudi Arabia’s king to reach peace agreements, all the peace agreements, including the Oslo Accords, have all failed because the original Zionist project was to take possession of all of Palestine and expel all its inhabitants. What is happening these days? Well, what happened on October seventh? First, we must understand how life is in Gaza. Gaza is a territory that is 40 kilometers long and ten wide, where 2,000,000 to 3,000,000 Palestinians are living in terrible conditions.

The entire territory is controlled and closed. Through a system of control made up of sensors and cameras, the Israelis know everything about everyone, they control the flow of goods, they even control the currency. So you can only trade using the shekel. They control correspondence, they control the media. There are only two outlets. On Israel’s side, there is the Erez crossing. And then on Egypt’s side, there is the Rafah crossing. In order to leave and receive medical treatment in Egypt, you need to go through these crossings. In Israel, you have to submit a long request that is usually never granted. There are people with cancer who die because they need specialized treatment and cannot leave. As for the sea, the fishermen are not allowed to go beyond three or four miles, otherwise Israeli patrol boats will stop them and many fishermen have been killed. So a source of food like fishing is hindered.

Everyone should know that the United Nations have their offices there, which have also been bombed, and about 80 UN personnel have died. UN personnel have died under the bombings, and these humanitarian organizations try to help the poorest part of the Palestinian population in Gaza through periodic food supplies. Let’s not forget that over 70% of Gaza’s population is unemployed and lives in misery. So, in this situation, rightfully called an open-air prison, a concentration camp, do you think someone shouldn’t react? Do you think that in this unlivable and ruthlessly cruel situation, someone shouldn’t react? Well, Hamas reacted. They reacted under conditions that leave many unanswered questions. Now, since everything is controlled, how is it that on October 7th, Hamas managed to easily leave through the Erez crossing? They even managed to do so with frogmen. They managed to leave with hang gliders or even with a tractor, they managed to tear down the fence, enter the kibbutz, and kidnap soldiers, police officers, and civilians.

And what happens? The army is called. The army arrives with Apache helicopters. They start shooting simultaneously. There is a rave party going on at the border, a festival of music. Today, we have testimonies from some pilots and from some surviving Israeli citizens who accuse the Israeli army of shooting into the crowd just to kill Hamas militants, thus also killing Israeli citizens.

So, this version was not told from the beginning. Another colossal lie that had a devastating and ongoing effect. And there are still people shamefully and despicably repeating it, claiming that they slaughtered, or even beheaded, 40 children. This was an invention, so much so that the journalist, etc., was fired from the Israeli television for saying this lie. The CNN journalist, the most widespread network in the United States, apologized. But there are still some who insist on considering this version as true just to slander Hamas, just to slander the Palestinian resistance, just to justify what is happening in Gaza. Well, if that’s the case, what was Israel’s reaction? Israel’s reaction suggests that this was planned. They left the door open, as if to say, do whatever you want. We’ll forget about it later.

What was the purpose? Hamas’ purpose was to kidnap several hundred Israelis, take them to Gaza, and then negotiate the release of thousands of Palestinian detainees. And here we must be clear about what it tells us, but it is a grave crime, a grave offense, to kidnap people because what is Israel doing? Israel, day by day, is arresting young people, elderly people, even women and children in the West Bank and putting them in jail for years and years, and these Palestinian prisoners don’t even know what they are accused of. It’s true that there is talk of the infamous administrative detention where they detain you, put you in prison, and you wait for years and years without knowing what the accusation is. There are about 10,000 Palestinians in Israeli prisons, and in Palestinian prisons, there isn’t even one.

The objective was this: you kidnap our people, do whatever you want, all the cruelties, all the abuses, all the violations of international law, 80 UN resolutions that are worthless, not a single one has been respected. Well, the oppressed people have the right, as a famous UN resolution says, to fight, even with armed violence. That’s what they did. So, from this point of view, the intolerable mystification, let’s not talk about the Americans who are the main responsible for this situation because with their veto power in the UN Security Council, they have prevented a multinational force from being deployed to defend the Palestinians. Well, they are killing. Almost 12,000 deaths every day, randomly bombing. There are already 5,000 children killed, slaughtered, butchered. I no longer watch the images because at this point, my sensitivity as a human being is in a grave situation of intolerable psychological reaction. As a father, as a grandfather, I cannot help but imagine that those children could be mine. There are reactions of rejection all over the world. Demonstrations that take place every Saturday, every Sunday worldwide, expressing that the sensitivity of the people, not the governments that are accomplices, not the complicit Western governments, is as guilty as the government of the assassin and criminal Netanyahu, who should be brought before the International Criminal Court and be judged and convicted for the crimes he has committed throughout these thirty years in power. That is the reality. Did this happen? And what is the ultimate goal? The ultimate goal is ethnic cleansing. Just like in ’48, when they cleansed about 500 villages, expelling the rightful owners, the legitimate inhabitants.

A significant part of the Israeli institutional opinion aims to evacuate Palestinians to Egypt through a mechanism of compensation. The Institute for National Security and Zionist Strategy clearly states that Palestinians should be compensated with 8 billion dollars in order for them to leave for Egypt, specifically through the Rafah crossing.

Then, about 10 billion dollars would be given to Egypt, to the Egyptian government, so that they can host 2 million out of 300,000 Palestinians. At that point, they would have colonized the entire Gaza Strip facing the sea and, above all, taken possession of the immense gas field discovered off the coast of Gaza, which belongs to the Palestinians. This is something that citizens, people who reason, who have some sensitivity, who have blood flowing in their veins, must understand. It is unbearable to read and hear on social networks people repeating like parrots the nonsense heard on Rai and Mediaset, the versions that are constructed to align with government propaganda, to please this government, to please the Zionists.

This is the reality. But let’s quickly go back to a very important question: what is Zionism?

There are many Jews, who we could mention individually, who are now thinking about and considering leaving Israel. They want to leave Israel because it is portrayed as an ultra-racist society, a barbaric and savage society, as the Jewish writer Assaf Gavron says: barbaric and savage. Even anti-Zionist opponents are persecuted. There are Orthodox rabbis from a group called Neturei Karta, which in Aramaic means “Guardians of the City,” who are brutally beaten. Every day we can see the footage, short films that come to us from Israel with unspeakable violence.

All these inconvenient subjects are persecuted. Then there are other rabbis who say that all Palestinians must be killed, that non-Jews don’t have the right to live or that non-Jews must serve the people of Israel because they are inferior beings. So, all of us non-Jews are inferior beings: clear and simple.

This is all documented. There are chilling pages of what they go preaching: they rejoice in the massacre of children in an orgy that recalls the cruelest pages of the Bible, where there is an invented God who says destroy, kill, massacre children, women, old people, and even livestock, because that’s what is written in the Bible. And they are practicing this with Zionism: it is clearly the absolutization of a cultural tradition that makes this ethnicity, this community of people, a kind of “super-people” to whom anything is allowed, everything they want. The fact that even now, despite some faint American voices from Biden inviting the Netanyahu government to stop the bombing, they don’t care at all because they know they can do whatever they want, since the power they have been granted is immense. They control all the information in the United States, the biggest billionaires are all Jewish. Let’s not forget that the famous figure George Soros is a Zionist Jew. The current Secretary of State Blinken, the one in charge of foreign policy, sorry, the current Secretary of State under Biden named Antony Blinken, is the son of a Jewish family, so he is also Jewish.

In all of modern American history, when a president runs for the presidency of the United States, they must make friends with Zionist Jews, otherwise they lose the elections. It is so true that by now it is a consolidated fact that this enormous lobby finances their own candidate with billions and billions of dollars, whether Democrat or Republican, so that whoever wins, in any case, they have their backs covered.

All major Hollywood film production companies, which are predominantly run by Jewish individuals, are inextricably linked to the Israel-Palestine conflict. The financial sector, primarily controlled by Zionist Jews, further perpetuates the complexities surrounding this issue. It is unfortunate that within the United States, there exists a significant number of professors, scholars, intellectuals, and journalists who have faced severe consequences, including the complete destruction of their careers, for daring to criticize Israel. Disturbingly, certain governments are now seeking to impose sanctions and years of imprisonment on those who voice their concerns about Israel, accusing them of anti-Semitism. However, it is crucial to acknowledge the growing dissent among a group of about 1000 intellectuals, predominantly American, who have united in protest, proclaiming that criticizing Israel does not necessarily equate to anti-Semitism. In fact, many Jewish intellectuals, scholars, philosophers, writers, directors, and journalists themselves are at the forefront of this criticism. These educated and compassionate individuals recognize that the current state of affairs poses a significant threat to the noblest roots of Judaism. Moni Ovadia, through his theatrical productions, writings, and speeches, eloquently highlights the importance of standing with the oppressed rather than the oppressors, a principle he has learned from his Jewish heritage.

WHAT IS THE CONDITION OF THE NON-ZIONIST JEWISH CITIZEN?

This question is very relevant, but unfortunately we must note that today the vast majority of them share the crimes of Netanyahu’s far-right government. There have been Jewish protests against the government and what is properly defined as genocide, and there are open clashes.

We have seen videos in which many rabbis, along with their students, enter the squares with flags and Palestinian keffiyehs and are insulted, offended by Zionists who call them traitors. What happened in New York recently is indicative. There is a group that we deeply respect, called Jewish Voice for Peace. Many of them went to a train station and wore shirts that said “Ceasefire now!“. Well, they protested against this massacre because it is a massacre, a genocide. 400 of them were immediately arrested. So in practice, even Jews are paying: there are intellectuals, we can mention the greatest Israeli journalist Gideon Levy, who is threatened and insulted daily. Another great journalist who is often in the territories occupied by Israel among the Palestinians is named Amira Hass. Both write for the only readable newspaper in this country, Haaretz, which is the only newspaper that reported what happened on October 7th, when Israeli soldiers with weapons and Apache helicopters contributed to the massacre of their own people in order to kill Hamas militants. Well, these are on the front line.

Not to mention the rabbis in New York who are organizing large demonstrations. They emphasize the crucial importance of peacefully dismantling the State of Israel, as it poses a threat not only to Judaism, but also to the Palestine cause. Today, all around the world, especially among those with less information and cultural awareness, Jews are unfairly associated with Netanyahu and the ongoing Israel-Palestine conflict. Once again in history, we find ourselves facing this deeply rooted hatred, driven by the brutality and ruthlessness displayed in the massacre of defenseless people. Israel’s actions, such as cutting off electricity, have resulted in the tragic deaths of innocent children in incubators and thousands of people who are denied proper medical treatment. Furthermore, they have indiscriminately bombed ambulances, claiming a mere suspicion of Hamas presence. Upon investigation, we find nurses, doctors, and innocent victims torn apart by the cannons and missiles fired by Israel.

It is clearly a massacre, and this massacre is supported and justified by the West, as well as by the silence of Asians. It is important to remember that just a few days ago, in the face of pressure, the spokesperson for the US Congress, who is a Republican, Mike Johnson, described the request to stop the massacre as outrageous. You read that right: stopping the massacre was described as an outrageous request. The same thing was done by the German Chancellor Scholz, who is an idiot who even physically obeys the German Zionist community and obeys the United States and NATO like a corpse, perinde ac cadaver, as the Latins used to say. Not to mention the Italian government. The only ones who have raised their voices are the Irish, who recalled their ambassador and condemned Israel as a genocidal and criminal state. After that, the country was recently set on fire.

It is also interesting to delve into Israel’s own funding of Hamas over the years, as well as the role of Qatar, which some observers describe as a kind of black bank for financing certain operations, creating chaos, and generating conflicts that we are now sadly used to quickly uncovering. It seems that Hamas is effectively an outpost of Israeli intelligence.

THE BIRTH OF HAMAS

Unlike Fatah, which is a secular political party, Hamas has a religious function and was founded based on affiliation with the Muslim Brotherhood organization, with the secret support and funding of Israel. This is because dividing the Palestinian resistance was and still is in the interest of the Israelis and, above all, the Netanyahu government, which was the deus ex machina of the entire operation.

WHAT IS HAMAS STRENGTH?

Not only being a religious movement, but also receiving significant funding from the United Arab Emirates and Qatar to assist the poorest Palestinians in Gaza, Hamas has emerged as a prominent force shaping the Israel Palestine conflict narrative. Thus, becoming a charitable institution while simultaneously arming themselves. It is essential to acknowledge the complex dynamics at play here. Let us not forget that one of Hamas’ leaders was Sheikh Yassin, a figure who garnered support amidst his physical disabilities and was tragically killed by the Israelis through a missile attack on his vehicle, claiming innocent lives in the process. Following his demise, Hamas swiftly regrouped, with a pediatrician named Abdel Aziz meeting a similar fate shortly after. These incidents were significant turning points. Furthermore, the 2007 elections saw Hamas victorious, thereby assuming governance of the Gaza Strip. Netanyahu, perceiving Hamas as a more radical and determined movement, favoring armed resistance, responded with collective punishment against the Gazans, held accountable for voting the way they did. This disparity in leadership led to an escalation of tensions in the region. It is essential to reference Gideon Levy’s book, “Punishment of Gaza,” shedding light on the underlying motivations behind these actions. Meanwhile, Hamas capitalized on international aid and weapon supply lines via the Rafah crossing, as opposed to Israeli-controlled Erez crossing. Presently, we are witnessing the consequences of these events, with an estimated army of nearly 100,000 Hamas fighters being formed in Gaza. They are diligently digging tunnels and organizing for long-term resistance, receiving support from Iran and even Hezbollah. A particularly important aspect that goes unreported by mainstream media is the existence of approximately 500 kilometers of tunnels, harboring not only the hostages captured by Hamas but also stockpiles of weapons and ammunition. This labyrinthine network empowers the guerrillas, who emerge from these underground shelters to strike Israeli tanks with anti-tank missiles, causing immense devastation and loss of life among the Israeli soldiers inside. The situation in the region is highly volatile, and addressing the root causes of the Israel Palestine conflict is crucial for long-lasting peace and stability.

Hamas militants with helmets and cameras on their heads film all the dead soldiers live. More than 1,000 Israeli soldiers are said to have fallen in combat, but Israel does not talk about this. A general was also killed. Several officers have fallen in combat. So, even young Israeli soldiers and officers are dying. All this for the millenarian, Old Testament, and nationalist delirium of building Greater Israel from the Nile to the Euphrates.

Not only the Palestinians, who are the biggest victims, but also a part of Israel, the less aware, more unconscious part, they too are paying for this nationalist delusion that, in our opinion, will not enjoy a long life. All these dynamics are translating again into hatred towards Israel, in measures such as the movement of divestments and sanctions against Israel, in the refusal to buy products that come from Israel, and so on. The leadership of this people sadly remains very stubborn, conceited, and incapable of learning the lessons of history, which seem very clear to us, from ancient Rome to the present day.

Moreover, the Arab world, which is now practically conquered by permanent enmity towards Israel, is evidently paralyzed, watching and still not taking concrete steps to stem this catastrophe. There is also the complicity of some states, like Jordan and King Abdullah, who signed the peace treaty with Israel. That peace treaty contains a clause in which the Americans send a monthly check of about 2 million dollars to King Abdullah, to fund his court and support Israel and keep calm. It is true that in these days about 3,000 Americans have entered Jordan and are naturally supporting Israel with the supply of weapons. The Jordanian people have gathered in large numbers in the squares, approaching the American consulate and the Israeli embassy with the intention of storming them. It was all repressed by the Jordanian army, which instead acted as a wall. The reality is that there have been corrupt Arabs who do nothing and only limit themselves to verbal condemnation.
